We envision SCOA as the leading professional organization in New Jersey that officiates and promotes the game of high school soccer in Essex, Hudson, Morris, Union and Warren Counties.

Our primary mission is to train and maintain high school soccer officials at the highest proficiency possible.

Honorary Members are not participating members of the Association, but rather honorees of SCOA who are recognized or their outstanding achievements or contributions.

First initiated in 1966, the Harry Nowick/Robert Leary Memorial recognizes and honors a member of SCOA for dedicated, distinguished and meritorious service to the association and to soccer officiating.

First initiated in 2009 to acknowledge contributions to SCOA and soccer.    

Recipients of this award are the President's selections for outstanding contributions in service to SCOA and its Members.

Presented to schools who have shown outstanding sportsmanship.
